Hello everyone!
With May entirely too quickly half way through, the summer warmth is already beginning to welcome us. Robins are happily bopping and hopping along while the crows yell at everyone. The squirrels have begun their tirades of tearing up my and my neighbors planters, hiding away their treasures for another day. They have their morning, afternoon and evening scurries up and down the tree. Very loudly I may add! I’m very thankful my dog is a very good boy and ignores them.
My plants are happily recovering from a wet and cold winter! One of my smaller orchids is working on a bloom this year an all of my cuttings have taken root! I’m taking this as a sign of a good year and good things to come! When they bloom, I’ll be sure to make a special post. In the mean time, I’ll continue to visit my local nurseries and probably make terrible financial decisions accordingly.
One of the blessings and curses of summer is indeed the heat. It presents challenges of getting out without overheating, much less for my dog. But despite this, I always plan ahead! He’s getting older so I am getting more determined to spoil him. I have plans on waterfront adventures and longer road trips that accommodate him this year!
What seasonal changes inspire you? Are you an animal person? How about plants? I would love to hear your stories and inspirations!
